On the last Sunday of each liturgical year, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, or Christ the King.

Pope Pius XI instituted this feast in 1925 with his encyclical Quas primas, to respond to growing secularism and atheism.

Jesus Christ “is very truth, and it is from him that truth must be obediently received by all mankind” (Quas primas, 7)

Our Mother of Salvation said on December 23rd, 2013:

“You must be prepared to live by the Truth and never succumb to accepting lies, which will be spread all over the world and the, soon to be declared, new one world religion. When you see these things happen, be assured that the time will be close for the Second Coming of the One True Saviour – Jesus Christ, the King of humanity.“

Let us all join together in prayer to pay homage to the King of Kings and uphold His Truth at all times.
